Accommodation description

Our vision of Casa Do Vento 

First of all introduce ourselves, we are Elena and Ishmael, and We run the rustic Hotel Casa do Vento. 

A Casa do Vento is a small rural hotel resulting from the rehabilitation of the house of our grandparents. Built in 1892 and dedicated by then and until 2000 for sale grocery, hardware, drug, generally you could find almost everything. 

In 2000 we started with the rehabilitation that lasted two years, in two years we equip our house with seven rooms and one suite, all with bathroom, TV, telephone and heating. 

Besides the rooms have a living room and a wine cellar for use of our customers overseas we have a porch, a garden area, parking is on the outside of the property. 

Since 2009 we have the option of renting the entire house, and to this we have a kitchen for guests who wish to rent the whole house. 

We are in the Costa da Morte, in a town called Baio we think is very convenient because we are close to the beaches, Laxe for example is 10 km and a not very big very interesting attractions such as The 60km Coruña, Santiago de Compostela 59km, 49km Finisterre, Muxia 34km.

Thanks to our situation you can visit, La Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Finisterre in less than an hour away, and the beach of Laxe, for instance is a 10 minute drive.
