 La Casa Rural " Santa Elena " is situated in the municipality of Villafranca de los Caballeros in the province of Toledo, in the Shire of Natural Mancha.

It has been built in a privileged location at the foot of the Lagunas Grade and Chica. This lagoon complex along with other wetlands , was declared by UNESCO " Biosphere Reserve " in 1981 and by the Ministry of Environment and Rural Development in 2006 , " Natural Reserve" .

The flora and fauna of the environment is of great wealth. You can see flamingos , ducks , geese, storks , cormorants, bitterns, herons and raptors such as the marsh harrier and osprey . Its waters are fish such as carp and tench . Of flora include the presence of tamarisk , Aleppo pine and pine.
